Mia Threapleton pays homage to mom Kate Winslet

Mia Threapleton paid homage to her mother Kate Winslet at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.

At the premiere of the film The Phoenician Scheme, the 24-year-old stepped out in an emerald green Oscar de la Renta gown.

The actress stunned in a strapless dress with a fitted bodice, a voluminous floor-length skirt. With an Orange flower appliqué in the bodice resembled the dress resembled her mother Kate Winslet’s dress.

Winslet wore a custom Givenchy deep green gown at the 1998 Academy Awards. The Givenchy gown was also completed with gold floral embroidery.

Mia is the spitting image of her mother, whom Winslet shares with her ex-husband Jim Threapleton.

The Titanic actress starred as Rose Bukater and took home 11 Oscars, including the best actress award.

Following in the footsteps of her famous mother, Threapleton has starred in several films. However, it is her official debut at Cannes.
